2010 was the year that this 27-year-old New York native got her first big break, when she was featured in both the remake of the 1984 horror classic ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street,’ and ‘The Social Network.’ The following year, she landed the role as the title character in ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,’ for which she was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe. This year she stars in ‘Side Effects,’ and a sci-fi romance movie called ‘Her.’
Not only is Mara beautiful and talented, but she’s also apparently a saint. She oversees a foundation called Uweza, whose mission is to create empowerment programs for families in Nairobi, Kenya. Also, she’s got an Audrey Hepburn thing happening, and we support it.
