Mr. Zombie has been in the music biz pretty much longer than I've been alive but has yet to release a live concert DVD. Well, that's not the case any longer! Word has just gotten out that an upcoming Zombie show will serve as the basis and setting for the band's first-ever DVD. Read on for all the deets!

Robert Bartleh Cummings, AKA Rob Zombie has had a pretty lengthy and diverse career in both the music and film world and now he can add live DVD to his healthy discography.

The quartet have been going strong since the April 23 release of Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor, the fifth studio album and follow-up to 2010's Hellbilly Deluxe 2. The new addition clocked in at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart and sold over 34,000 copies during its first week

The DVD's immediate details are not yet known but the band is currently on tour with the annual Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival and the stage show that is used will be the premises for the DVD.

According to guitarist John 5:

This is big news. I haven't talked about this. 30 years, ROB ZOMBIE, WHITE ZOMBIE — never done a live DVD. We're doing one this year. The show's so big. It can't get much bigger, so I'm like, We better record this!

Stay tuned as details of the upcoming release emerge.
