Regis Announces Retirement

I never thought Regis was the type who would retire but alas that day is upon us. He could have retired long ago – he’s 79 – but he keeps hosting everything!

Regis announced it on his show this morning that 2011 is his last year hosting the show. He’s been the host for 28 years, which makes it hard to imagine who could replace him. On the other hand Bob Barker hosted The Price Is Right for 35 years and despite the naysayers, Drew Carey has managed to be successful as host.

So who could possibly replace Regis? Maybe it’s time for the show to end. I should apply – middle aged women love me.
