Local resident &  former WWE Wrestler Jeff Starr stopped by the Q103 studio's.  He didn't body slam me but he did promote the Spring Rumble Wrestling Event at Burnt Hills High School Friday night.

Jeff Starr got his wrestling start in the Capital Region at Burnt Hills Ballston Lake High School and worked his way up to the WWE as Mr. Spotlight in the late 90's.   He was quite successful at it earning many championship titles and even wrestled Hulk Hogan - he lost.

Friday night March 25th, he'll wrestle for the final time, where it all started at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School. Spring Rumble Wrestling presented by Northeast Wrestling.

Six matches will be on hand including Glens Falls native Hacksaw Jim Duggan plus many others of his wrestling friends.

They say Jeff always has the guys on the edge of their seats and their girlfriends on his arm. Well, he was very entertaining in the studio and Friday night is sure to be a lot of fun. No wonder the Q103 Q-Tease  Jen, Amanda, Jodi and Nikki were quick to escort Jeff to the ring.

Tickets are still available at Goldstocks on Freemans Bridge Road in Glenville and proceeds to benefit charity.
