It seems like forever since August 20th's announcement from Pearl Jam of their new album "Lightning Bolt". So far two songs have made their way to radio, 'Mind Your Manner' and 'Sirens', and there are ten more on the album yet to be heard by the world at-large.

To gear fans up for the release on October 15th, the band teamed up with director Danny Clinch to created a short film on the album. Included are sample of addition songs from the album as well as celebrities asking the band questions; Judd Apatow (writer, director, filmmaker), Carrie Brownstein (writer, musician, actress), Mark Richards (4 x world champion surfer and renowned surfboard-maker), Steve Gleason (former NFL player living with ALS disease).

The band's website discribes the film:

This nine-minute piece features excerpts of Lightning Bolt performances and conversations with guest interviewers filmed in the band's hometown of Seattle.

From the conversations and interviews, the band is promising "more to come" as we approach the release.

Lighting Bolt, Pearl Jam's 10th studio album, comes out on October 15th via the band's own label Monkey Wrench in connection with Republic Records
