Ozzy And Sharon Osbourne Team Up With CBS To Launch Colonoscopy Contest

Say what? That was my first reaction too, but it's a true story and it's for a good cause and sends out a good message to the public. The Osbournes are teaming up with CBS and have just announced the CBS Cares Colonoscopy Sweepstakes, and Ozzy wants you to enter! He says "ayejkckdowjfnx," which means...actually I don't know what it means but do it anyway!

Ozzy and Sharon, along with Alan Kalter, announcer for The Late Show with David Letterman, have joined forces with CBS and the leader in the diagnosis, New York Presbyterian Hospital for the contest. The winner will receive a free colonoscopy, a trip to New York City that includes hotel and airfare, in addition to $500 spending cash. Hell for that kind of gift I'll enter!

The reasoning behind this contest? Sharon's diagnosis and survival of colon cancer a few years ago, according to the article:

My life was saved by a colonoscopy that Ozzy urged me to have and I hope everyone who sees the campaign will enter the sweepstakes and talk to their doctor about the importance of screenings, Sharon, 59, recently remarked. The famed artist manager and 'The Talk' host is a colon cancer survivor and advocate for early detection of the disease.

It's a good thing Ozzy urged Sharon to get the procedue, for and her him because if it weren't for her, I truly think he'd be dead by now.
