Nirvana Gets A Classic Covered By Orchestra

Classic Nirvana, done classically.

This is going to make me feel old, but technically, Nirvana is classic rock. Oh man that hurts to type. Getting older isn't the worst though. In human terms, age bring wisdom, in music terms, it bring covers.

Covers come in all shapes and sizes. Covering rock music with an orchestra is a big production, and usually highly worth it. Metallica's S&M album is a favorite of mine. Tool has had their hits converted to instrumental orchestrated music as well.

Three musicians in Arizona have started up a project called Cinematic Pop. They're taking iconic rock and pop songs and giving them the orchestra make over.
