The brothers got some B-List (ha ha, I'm only 1/2 kidding) dudes to play them too ...

There's a new movie coming out this July that stars Zac Efron and Adam DeVine as a couple of brothers who tend to be a bit reckless, preparing to attend their sister's wedding in Hawaii. In a desperate attempt to tame the brothers' antics at the wedding, their family requires the brothers to find respectable dates to bring to the wedding. Being the hotheads these brothers are, they decide to take finding dates to the next level posting an ad online and eventually hitting the morning and talk show circuit.

Insert Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza, a coupe of partiers themselves, who decide to trick the boys into taking them to Hawaii and proceed to be more badass then them at, well, everything.

Turns out the flick is (loosely) based on a couple of local boys from Colonie! According to the Times Union, brothers Mike and Dave Stangle from Colonie back in 2013 posted a hilarious ad on Craigslist looking for dates to a wedding in Saratoga Springs (not Hawaii). Apparently their ad went viral, which got them on the morning show TV circuit, got them a book deal, and now there's a movie coming based and their crazy antics.
