Whenever a band that has been around as long as Metallica has, it's hard to believe that haven't played every inch of the earth.  This is the case of Metallica and the country of India.  The heavy metal masters have never played the world biggest continent, but that is all changing this month.

Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo revealed that the band was going to be playing India in an interview with Inland Empire Weekly.

We are going to play India in October. That should be interesting, playing a place we never thought in our wildest dreams we'd play. It's an honor for all of us that we get to be a part of that whole music scene as a metal band sharing our music with fans in India at this incredible concert!
