Considering the amount of money in damages he causes trying to save Metropolis in 'Man of Steel,' maybe Superman should be called $uperman.

Using data from New York City and Chicago, scientist and disaster expert Charles Watson said Superman and General Zod's epic battle in the latter part of 'Man of Steel' would've resulted in 129,000 deaths and 250,000 people going missing, with another million suffering injuries.

The rebuilding effort would be massive, to put it mildly, since there would be $2 TRILLION in damages.

Thank goodness it's all for entertainment purposes -- or else we might be looking at a very, very, very big jump in ticket prices to cover the tab.
