Man Arrested For DUI, BAC Was 3 Times Legal Limit

Andy Dean

One man’s crazy Saturday night went the wrong way quick and landed him in jail.

Austin Foote, 25, was arrested for drunk driving after a concerned citizen in the Vermont town of Winhall called police. The person reported a car driving erratically and at high speeds.

When police caught up to Foote, he was driving in reverse down the wrong side of the road. To say he was extremely intoxicated is an understatement; Foote’s blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit at .222.

Foote was arrested, processed, and released with a pending court date for his charges.
