Legendary Band Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Upstate New York Show
We are not done with concerts in 2023 but we are starting to load up on concerts for 2024! Well, loading up might be s strong phrase but we do have Metallica set for Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA in August of '24 and now we can look forward to a show much closer to home.
With the recent trend of bands such as Aerosmith and The Eagles setting out on farewell tours it is refreshing to see that this band is not only still going, they are celebrating their 50th Anniversary with a tour that stops in the Capital Region.
Since 1973 Kansas have released 9 gold albums and 3 multi-platinum albums featuring huge Classic Rock radio hits such as "Carry On My Wayward Son", "Dust In the Wind" and "Point of No Return". Now the band plans to celebrate those songs and more with a celebration in Albany.
Kansas "Another Fork In the Road-50th Anniversary Tour" arrives at the Palace Theatre in Albany on Saturday May 11, 2024. Tickets for this Kansas performance will go on sale to the general public on Friday September 15, 2023 at 10am. Check ticket availability HERE.
Kansas is currently comprised of original band members Phil Ehart on drums and Richard Williams on guitar. The band is also made up of Billy Greer on bass, Tom Brislin on keys, Ronnie Platt on vocals and Joe Deninzon on violin and guitars.
