Late-Night Munching? 1 in 4 Crave “Bizarre” Foods
It's 1 am. There almost nothing on TV worth watching. Facebook is getting boring. Worst of all? You can't sleep. So what do you do? Late-night snacking, of course!
Think you should feel guilty? Don't! (Even if you are cheating on your diet)
According to a study conducted on 507 students about their "concocting" of late-night foods found that nearly 1 in 4 grub down and even make some odd combinations.
What's an odd combination? Things like sugar-filled scrambled eggs and mayo-smothered veggies. Of those that admitted to the strange and bizarre combinations, they claimed they created them due to their late-night cravings.
Alexandra Caspero, R.D., owner of a weight-management and sports-nutrition service, says There's nothing wrong with concocting but you don't want your midnight snacks to wreak havoc on your waistline."
