Rain-soaked donations in Queensbury are piling up and the Salvation Army is all backed up. But is the culprit of this pile-up the work of people treating this donation site as a dump?

Don Sanderson, Salvation Army Captain, commented to News10:

Well-intentioned people left donations out in the parking lot not realizing we were ill-prepared to pick up that much stuff in that short of time

While the Salvation Army is working their butts off to get this stuff picked up, Sanderson did offer this bit of advice: if you see a pile forming at one of their many drop-off locations, call 1-800-SATRUCK and arrange a pick-up.
