The bass player and lead singer of legendary rock band RUSH turns 57 today and the dude is still rocking like it's the 1970's.

RUSH has always been and will always be one of my favorite bands.  Last summer when they came to town I jumped at the chance to see them and I'm glad I did.  It was one of the best RUSH shows I had ever seen.  Other RUSH fans agreed and said that it was the best RUSH show in a long time.

One of the reasons why I like these guys so much is because of front man Geddy Lee. Not only does he have a very unique delivery for his vocals but the dude is one of the best bass players in the history of rock.  When he does a solo live it always blows me away.  He plays so fast and so smooth it's ridiculous.  Today just happens to be his birthday and he is 57 years old.

You would never know it by the way he runs around on stage.  Not that 57 is old, but most 57 year old's I know aren't jumping around slappin' the bass.  So I just want to wish him a happy birthday. Lets keep the rock going!

Now prepared to be RUSH-A-FIED!
