It's the movies we all quote on regular basis. You know them by hart and even if they get edited for TV, you still watch them anyways. The greatest comedies of all time.

Thanks to a poll of you from Facebook, Twitter, and talking with some of my closets friends - Here now are the Greatest Guy Movie Comedies of All Time (according to me).

    Animal House

"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?" No, No it wasn't and the film that almost didn't happen has since gone on to historic, even cult, like status in the comedy world.

Even to this day, this movie comedy stands the test of time from the horse dying in Dean Wormers office to the toga party to the parade invasion in the film's final scene.

    "FOOD FIGHT!"

    Blazing Saddle

"Excuse me while I whip this out."

Richard Prior was originally set to play the role of Sheriff but the studio felt he wasn't a big enough name at the time to assume the role. Still, the movie with all it's racist slurs is one of the most memorable comedies of all time. I mean how can you forget the greatest fart scene in cinematic history.

    Caddyshack

"It's in the hole!" The original Caddyshack had one of the most stellar lineups of comedians for it's time. Rodney Dangerfield was relatively unknown when the film hit theaters but that wouldn't last long afterwards. Bill Murry helped to make the film with his furry nemesis.

"Let things happen... and be the ball," "Last time I saw a mouth like that it had a hook in it," "I have to think like an animal and somethings, look like one," and "hey everybody, we're all gonna get laid."

    Happy Gilmore

"The Price Is Wrong Bitch." Bob Barker's scene with Sandler even won the award for "Best Fight" at that year's MTV Movie Awards.

Who knew that golf could be fun, let alone make a movie completely based around it and be funny? If only something like this actually happened in professional golf, I'd might actually watch the sport.

    Airplane

"Ever seen a grown man naked?"

One of the easiest movies to quote of all time. A spoof of the Airport films and Zero Hour, the movie lays out the quotes about every 30 seconds and never stops until the end.

"I am serious and don't call me Shirley"

    Anchorman

    "You dirty pirate hooker."

This movie is one of those that is quoted most and some don't even realize it. Personally, I can't wait to see what great quotes I'll be spatting out once the sequel hits theaters.

"Go back to your home on whore island"

Monty Python & The Holy Grail

    "It's just flesh wound."

A true testament that a good comedy can stand the test of time and changes in comedy culture. Released in 1975, new generations of comedy fans find their way to one of the originals of that can be watch infinite times again and again.

    Blues Brothers

"It's a 110 miles to Chicago, we have a full tank of gas, half pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."

"Hit It" - This movie is, for most, a comedic gem or even crown jewel. Granted, the sequels never lived up to the original but it's one of the few times a Saturday Night Live skit successfully turned into a full length feature.

    The Naked Gun Trilogy

    "I'm Frank Dreppon, Police Sqaud."

Leslie Nelson took his short lived TV show and turned it in to a trilogy of comedy gold with just about every sexual innuendo you can imagine like "I had to find my way in like a blind man in an orgy".

"Like a midget at a urinal, I had to stand on my toes", "

    Clerks 1 & 2

"Hey there you little porch monkey... What? I'm taking it back."

The original black & white film was made a very small budget but achieved huge success after reaching retail release and started the career of Kevin Smith. The sequel was met with some great revues from longtime fans alike. Now there is third, final installment to come out in the next few years.

"37? My girlfriend has (beep) 37 (bleep)"
