I don’t think everyone totally respects the power of the ocean. Watching this guy tempt death is absolutely awesome.

I’ll admit I use to be the kind of guy who would look at surfing and not think much of it. I loved it and thought it was cool but I never saw it as dangerous. Not many people can give the respect the ocean deserves until you they have been beat to shit by a fierce wave. It took a good ass kicking and being virtually curb stomped into some coral by an angry wave for me to understand how intense some surfing can be. And I was just hitting some lame less then 3 footers. This dude is surfing a 78 foot wave. Super bad ass.
