Philadelphia Phillies Play-By-Play Guy Catches Home Run Ball [Video]

It’s always fun to see a great catch by a fan when a foul ball or home run ball lands in the stands at a baseball game.

A couple of weeks ago, we shared the awesome video of a dad who snagged a ball while carrying his kid up the tunnel from the concourse.

This time around, it was a play-by-play guy, not a fan, who made the catch.

The Philadelphia Philliesbroadcast team called Friday night’s game against the Atlanta Braves from a special location in center field among the fans. That put them in a prime location to catch a home run ball. And that’s just what happened when the Braves’ Freddie Freeman came to the plate in the first inning.
