Moving sucks. Moving an entire house must really suck.

A historic home in Germantown, Tenn., was recently being moved from it's original plot (which had been sold) to a new plot of land a little further down the road.

But despite about a year of planning and a very experienced team of house movers, things didn't work out so well for the 19th century home that was originally a post office, WREG-TV reported.

Essentially, the house was too heavy and wide. It broke the axles of the truck that was carrying it. It hit trees, mailboxes and street signs all the way down the road.

So, they had to call it quits, park that sucker in the middle of the street and come back the next day to finish the job.
