Baseball Player Flings Bat Into Stands on Consecutive Pitches [Video]

One of the exciting things about being in the stands at a baseball game is the chance of catching either a foul ball or home run. But what is less exciting is having the bat ending up in the stands instead of the ball.

On Wednesday, Brennan Boesch, who plays for the Salt Lake Bees (the Los Angeles Angels‘ Triple A team), flung his bat into the stands.

Boesch did it not just once, but TWICE!

The first time, it resulted in an injured girl.

You would think that he’d then be able to keep his grip on the bat. However, he flung his bat into the stands again on the very next pitch.

Fans quickly turned on him as he just seemed to smile about it. Most likely because of the large amount boos being shouted throughout the stadium, he wisely chose not to swing at the next pitch.
