Fozzy's new single, 'Lights Go Out,' won't hit iTunes until April 29, but the band wants to give fans an early taste and they've teamed with Loudwire to bring you the exclusive premiere of the song's lyric video.

'Lights Go Out' is a full-on rocker with plenty of blistering guitar and an accessible beat that you can nod your head to. Frontman Chris Jericho channels a little bit of Ozzy Osbourne on the vocals and the song lyrically addresses the "inhibitions lost and lines get crossed" that happen when nightfall sets in. Jericho himself just debuted the song on his PodcastOne 'Talk Is Jericho' show, which also featured special guest William Shatner.

Frontman Chris Jericho tells us of the track, “Step aside and suck it Jay Z, Fall Out Boy and Luke Bryan, because the SONG OF THE SUMMER has arrived! I guarantee 'Lights Go Out' will have you rockin', dancin', drinking, partying and losing your clothes after the first chorus. The Fozzy revolution has officially arrived!" The vocalist also recently stated of the song, "'Lights Go Out' represents a brand new color in the Fozzy spectrum -- dark, sexy, sleek, dirty, heave and catchy as f---." Well, that certainly sells it!

Jericho, along with guitarists Rich Ward and Billy Grey, bassist Paul DiLeo and drummer Frank Fontsere, have been in the studio working on a new album, and Jericho recently confirmed that the new Fozzy disc is on target for a July release.
