Joe Andruzzi, winner of the NFL's Ed Block Courage Award and three Super Bowls with the Patriots, was at the Boston Marathon with his Caner Foundation as a big supporter of several runners. When the first bomb went off he took to Twitter to say he was near the blast but then his account went silent - We now know he was helping those in need during the aftermath.

A picture (click here to see it) from the Boston Globe shows Joe helping those injured from the bombings. It should also be noted that being part of a first responding team seems to be in Joe's blood as he is the brother to three NYC Firemen.
