via flickr user skettalee
Much like the res of you, I am always looking to save some money no matter what it is. So what will get me the most for my money? Generally you can actually save by buying larger packs of things for a little bit more. So what can $13 get you? In the short, a lot of things depending on how you divvy up your spending. So let's take a look at what $13 can bring you home. No breaking the bank here.

Steve Martin & The Steep Canyon Rangers Album

Head over to and you can get yourself a copy of the brand new album from Steve Martin. The dude is one of the worlds best banjo players, so $13 is a bargain for his work. Plus they do some great covers.

18 Pack of Beer

Why get 12 when for just a few more dollars you can get an $18 pack? I suppose you could really splurge and get a 24, but that wouldn't fall into our $13 budget, unless you get some very cheap beer. Most places offer 18 packs for about $13, so it's pretty easy to find.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 DVD

Catch up on the first part of the conclusion of the Harry Potter franchise for just $13 on Amazon. I remember when movies were $20, but thanks to the internet we can get them much cheaper. You could probably even get a few movies for $13 instead of just one.

Feast for a King off the McDonald’s Dollar Menu

With each item only being a dollar, you could pretty good for $13. Burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, drinks, salads, pretty much anything and any combination. It may not be the healthiest option, but for $13 you could probably eat for a few days when it comes to dollar menu. That's what got me through college, that and Ramen noodles.
