The past few years, singer-guitarist Pepper Keenan has devoted his time to Down while his other band, Corrosion of Conformity, have continued to record and tour without him. But that may be about to change as Keenan revealed in a new interview with Metal Hammer that he's been in talks to rejoin the group.

Keenan stated, "The old COC thing's been coming up a lot. We're talking with Reed [Mullin] and Woody [Weatherman] about getting that going. That's going to take a lot of attention. We're talking about just going to Europe and playing shows as the 'Deliverance' four-piece and starting from there to get it back together."

Fans may have to wait a while for the reunion to take place, as both Down and Corrosion of Conformity just released new discs within the last few months. He adds that he doesn't expect work to start on the next Corrosion of Conformity album until at least February of 2015, with no timeline as of yet for the official release.

As for Down and their plans, Keenan added, "We're just getting our feet wet on this thing. We've got a ways to go on this [Down] EP. It's got strong legs on it. We're going to keep pounding it out."
