Donkey-Gate – Google Denies Running Over Donkey With Street View Car

Anytime there is a scandal it automatically has the word "gate" attached to it and this is not different.

Donkey-Gate is now under way after Google released several images that depicts their Street View car running over a donkey in Botswana.

The company released a statement after outrage began to rise as the image (below) went viral. It shows the dirt kicking up and a donkey on the ground, presumably dead on the side of the road.

A company rep said in the statement "As our imagery below shows, the donkey was lying in the path – perhaps enjoying a dust bath – before moving safely aside as our car drove past. I’m pleased to confirm the donkey is alive and well"

Amazing how the fate of a donkey can get the internet in an uproar. Those who were mad, have you ever ran over a squirrel and didn't stop? What about a cat or dog? I love the internet for the stupid things you can find but I hate for the faceless masses that cause a ruckus because they have nothing better to do with their time then re-post stupid things on Facebook.
