Does Deftones Video Show The Meaning Of True Love?

I'm not even sure where to go with this. My thoughts are all over the road. I don't know.

I just watched a video by the Deftones (my favorite band) and I'm verklempt.

The beauty of love was splattered all over the screen and I'm sitting over here like, "That was f'ing beautiful." Here's the thing though: the video and the song are polar opposites.

"Dai the Flu" is the song and if you're familiar with it, you know that 'being in love' is not what this song is about. With lyrics like "timing is everything in the bed, cause you'll sleep for hours to keep away," it's safe to say that the two people portrayed in "Dai" do everything they can to avoid each other.

Then you have the video. Probably one of the best videos I've ever seen. The beauty of it? It's not "Dai's" actual video. And you know what, that's alright.

There's something about watching this couple just being in love, making the best out of everything. It's so very captivating, especially to this song.

I don't know, I've probably just thrown my man card out the window and stamped 'Hopeless Romantic' on my forehead, but this video is awesome! Watch it.
