Blizzard Entertainment has announced some colossal bonuses and features coming to the console versions of its Reaper-infused title, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition.

As The Last Guardian's absence from E3 2014 was quite noticeable, Blizzard has made a deal with Team Ico to help bring in some PS2-era nostalgia for those who play Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition on PlayStation consoles. Purchasing the Ultimate Evil Edition for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 will unlock the "Guide of the Colossi" set, which includes transmogrification blueprints that grants six different armor appearances that look like the all too familiar giants from the classic PlayStation 2 title, Shadow of the Colossus.

The Ultimate Evil Edition for Diablo III will include everything in the Reaper of Souls expansion along with Acts I-IV, making it the complete package for hellish dungeon-crawling. You get access to Reaper's new Crusader class and are able to import your characters from the current-gen consoles of Diablo III, so you can move onto the Ultimate Evil Edition.

There is a new Apprentice Mode added as well, which buffs lower level characters when partied in a multiplayer group of higher level characters to even out the playing field. There are also Nemesis Kills, which reward you for vanquishing enemies that murdered one of your friends. As with Reaper of Souls, the Mystic artisan, Adventure Mode, Nephalem Rifts and Bounties are all included in the Ultimate Evil Edition.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition reopens the gates of hell on Aug. 19 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
