Over the summer Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor gave a lecture at Oxford University in England.  He spoke to over 100 students and gave a simple message to them; forget chasing dreams and do what you're good at.

Whoever gave the impression that metal-heads were nothing but headbanging morons was sadly mistaken.  Corey Taylor is yet another metal musician that proves that once again metal can be smart, very smart.

He took part in a lecture at Oxford University back in June where he spoke to over 100 students in Oxfords famous debating society.  Taylor was kind of a buzz kill, but what he said made total sense.  His focus was on how people spend years, and years chasing dreams.  He says forget that, and start chasing what you're good at.

Too many people chase dreams that they don't understand. Too many people try to go for things that they'd like to do but they're not realistic enough to know they don't have the talent.
