Now it's Labor Day weekend, Sunday afternoon when across the radio comes one of those Emergency Alerts with a Tornado Warning near Amsterdam. Hurricane Irene blasted the East Coast, although rare it may not be the last one this year that could affect New York State. Peak hurricane season happens in September and there are several tropical depressions that are forming now. What name hurricane could we be talking about next?
Granted TS Irene was pretty damaging to the whole of the east coast, but a lot of that was because we're just not prepared to deal with stuff like that.
