If you are someone who frequents area Bruegger's Bagel shops, and you are also someone who has a SEFCU bank account. You need to know what is going on.

I am sure the first question you have is why right? Yeah, I had the same thought when I first saw Times Union do an amazing article on this. Sadly, the article didn't provide that information. Neither will mine, sorry, it seems that the bank nor Brueggers is exactly open to explaining the reasoning. What we do know it, it is on Bruegger's end.

There are at this current time, eight SEFCU ATM's located around the area inside of the bagel shops. Those eight will soon disappear, reportedly by the end of the month.

Now, want a positive? There is a glaring one thankfully. SEFCU will Chumbawumba this situation, they won't be knocked down. They are going to be adding ATM's into 28 CVS pharmacy locations scattered throughout the Capital Region.

As someone who has an account with the credit union, I love this. Reason being, the closest branch is on Hoosick Street in Troy for me. That road is complete hell to have to pull in and out of a parking lot.

What are your thoughts?
