I love "The Boondock Saints" but there are a few things that I don't understand.

In the first movie the brothers don't start taking out bad guys until after they receive there spiritual awakening. So does this mean that we are going to be seeing how the brothers were trained?

Then who trains them?

In the first movie their father is in jail and if you saw the deleted scenes, their mother lives in Ireland and drinks enough whiskey to kill a bear.

How far back are they going to go?

If they go too far back how much action are we going to see?

In the second movie there were allot of flashbacks to when their father was a hired gun for the mob, so is the prequel series going to based on the fathers life?

I hope that Troy Duffy does not create two completely new characters and make it seem like being the Saints is more like a mantle that can be taken up by different duos, but then again that sounds kind of cool.

At first I was conflicted, but the more I think about it, the more excited I get.

I just hope that the show does not suck.
