If you have been to the Golden Town Buffet recently and happened to notice some odd debits on your credit cards, you may want to contact the Bethlehem Police Department.

The Route 9W restaurant was searched by police yesterday (August 5th) and they determined that customers' information was in fact being compromised.

Now Bethlehem Police are asking anyone who visited the eatery and paid with a credit/debit card between June 15 and August 5 to check their records. If there is any indication of fraudulent charges, you are being asked to contact local or federal officials immediately.

Over $50,000 has been stolen from nearly 30 victims of identity theft in connection to the restaurant.

Bethlehem Police say Golden Town Buffet management are working with them and that they were not aware of the situation. The investigation is on going.
