Best Outdoor Activities to Pair with Beer

With summer finally upon us it is time to start doing things that are summer clichés and time to start enjoying the weather outside.

We are talking enjoying a nice cold beer (of course, only if you are legal) while also involving some nice outdoor activities and sports. Just remember to put the mugs in the freezer and not the frisbee at the end of the day. As always you should be careful while running around outside, especially if you are enjoying a cold one and note that all of these tips are, of course, meant in good fun. Please always drink responsibly

Wiffle Ball

When drinking this is a good game to consider as opposed to actual baseball for obvious reasons. Instead of using a metal or wooden bat you and your pals can play a safer version of America's pastime and still achieve the same results. A bonus is that the ball will more than likely travel less than a baseball so that means less running and less of a chance of hurting yourself or spilling your beer.

Soccer (With a Soft Ball)

Soccer is another go to at outdoor functions because you can play it practically anywhere. All you need is a group of friends and a ball of some sort. I am a fan of using something other than a soccer ball because since it is the summer, really, who wants to wear shoes.

Picnic

Nothing goes more hand in hand with summer than a picnic. Grab a blanket, some fresh fruit, and friends. Thatcher Park is an ideal place to grab some rays but don't forget about your own local parks too.

Bocce Ball

Bocce ball, is in my opinion, one of the most underrated lawn games that there is. This game is so user friendly that people that are both 5 and 85 can play with relative ease. I mean in what other game is the object just to throw a ball close to another ball? Just make sure to get a stretch of grass where people are not hanging out- try by a fence.
