Apparently some of that Wisconsin cheese is getting the assist from New York State.

Wisconsin's BelGioioso Cheese has been in business here in the Capital Region for awhile. They currently own and operate the former Cappiello's plant in Schenectady but their business is about to do some expanding.

According to the Times Union the plan is to build a brand new $25 million, 100,000 square-foot mozzarella making factory in Glenville. Not only will the new factory add almost 50 more jobs in the area but hopefully boost demand for local dairy farm milk which sounds like a win win if you ask me.

At this point it is unclear weather the cheese produced at the new plant will be under the BelGioioso or Cappiello's brand but either way some more delicious locally made cheese  is about to be produced and sold right here in the Capital Region, among other places.
