This year's Rock in Rio ended with a bang Sunday (Sept. 22) with rocking final day performances from Iron Maiden, Slayer and Avenged Sevenfold. You can watch A7X's full set above.

The eclectic Brazilian festival featured artists from many different genres during its seven performance days, ranging from Justin Timberlake to Beyonce to Metallica and Alice in Chains. Hard rock and metal were well-represented this year, with bands such as Sepultura, Ghost B.C., Rob Zombie, Helloween and the Offspring.

Avenged Sevenfold have been riding high, with their latest album 'Hail to the King' debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The title track also topped several singles charts.

During the Rock in Rio set, A7X busted out new songs like 'Shepherd of Fire' and 'Hail to the King' alongside favorites like 'Bat Country,' 'Nightmare' and 'Beast and the Harlot. The band is now gearing up to embark on a North American tour with Deftones and Ghost B.C. that kicks off Oct. 3 in Chicago.
