This depiction of the Temple of Time from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is nothing short of breathtaking.
Animator Michael Eurek rendered the Temple of Time using Unreal Engine 4. The result of Eurek’s stellar creation of the Temple of Time proves to be one of the best-looking environments to come from The Legend of Zelda franchise. Eurek explained in the video’s description that project originated from a friend’s recommendation that he should try to recreate an environment from an old game he liked using modern techniques for both the fun and challenge.
Eurek got to work with Maya, Z-brush, Photoshop and Unreal Engine 4 in order to provide this gorgeous rendition of the Temple of Time, Goron’s Ruby, Zora’s Sapphire, Kokiri’s Emerald, the Door of Time and, of course, the Master Sword. He even recreated the skylight’s off-centered aura shining down on the sword, just like how it was in the original Nintendo 64 classic.
