The Alligator Gar Has Been Caught But Not Forgotten [VIDEO]

It was the biggest fish story of the summer, perhaps the biggest fish story to ever come out of Schenectady, and now one man's pet is another man's trophy.

There is not much more I can say about that, however the whole story gave me a really bad idea.

My Bad Idea

We can put more invasive fish in Iroquois Lake for next summer. A lot of people were looking for this one fish for weeks, catching the fish was almost as popular as Pokemon GO. The story even got press in the New York Times!

Unlike Pokemon GO, people actually benefited from this "Monster Hunt." People were flocking to Central Park in Schenectady and spending money in Schenectady (people usually spend money to get away from Schenectady) but the Alligator Gar brought people out and brought them together, so why ruin a good thing?

Maybe someone can just write a song about it.
