The nominees for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards have just been announced. The event will take place Feb. 15, 2016, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, airing live on CBS.

In the Best Metal Performance Category, August Burns Red ("Identity"), Ghost ("Cirice"), Lamb of God ("512"), Sevendust ("Thank You") and Slipknot ("Custer") will battle it out.

Meanwhile, Foo Fighters ("Something From Nothing") will take on a bunch of alternative/indie acts in the Best Rock Performance Category. Additionally, the band's HBO documentary Sonic Highways will compete for Best Music Film.

Slipknot's .5: The Gray Chapter, Highly Suspect's Mister Asylum and Muse's Drones are among the nominees in the Best Rock Album category, while Highly Suspect scored a second nod in the Best Rock Song field for "Lydia."
