Hey there. I’m Hyde. You’ve probably heard me kicking off 105 Minutes of Nonstop Classic Rock at 10am this week. When I’m not bringing the tunes to the Capital Region's Classic Rock Station, I’m probably watching Seinfeld, Turner Classic Movies, or TV shows I loved that got cancelled way too soon.

I come to New York via a strange route that winds its way from New England, down to Nashville, Tennessee and then a sharp about face to come back to the northeast. Being new to the area, I am all about exploring and driving the back roads to see what is out there to be seen. Suggestions are always welcome for any cool places I should be exploring.

I am very intense about Pizza. You have been warned.

If you’re scrolling socials, you may have seen my face talking about vinyl records and more in a commercial for the Whatnot app. I have a mighty large record collection, but it can always be bigger, so I spend a lot of time in record stores and flea markets and estate sales, because you never know what treasures are just looking to be dug up! My collection of Vintage Rock, Wrestling, and miscellaneous T Shirts supersedes any retirement plan I may have had.

And, of course, I dig music. I am all too happy to hit you with 57 Minutes of Classic Rock beginning in the noon hour and I am fortunate enough to play my favorites like the Rolling Stones, Def Leppard, Rush and so many more.

I’m sure I’ll see you at a show sometime – just look for the guy with long hair near the front, sipping a Coke and ready to rock n roll.
