Wrestling Legend Jake “The Snake” Roberts Coming to Albany

Pro wrestling legend and WWE hall of famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts will play the Albany Funny Bone Tuesday night, Nov. 15. Showtime 7:30pm.

As an old school wrestling fan, I was always a big fan of Jake "The Snake" Roberts. He was always so intense to watch and he had a really cool finishing maneuver known as the DDT. He was most popular during his first stint with the World Wrestling Federation (now the WWE) between 1986 and 1992. He was famous for bringing snakes to the ring, most famously his python Damian. After years of drug and alcohol abuse, he finally cleaned up his act and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014. He brings his Unspoken Word Tour full of road stories and locker room antics to the Albany Funny Bone on Tuesday night.
