Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers formed in 1976 out of Gainesville, Florida. The band has had a number of hits over the years and they continue to host sold-out shows. Tom Petty has sold over 80 million records worldwide throughout his career and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002. His last studio album Hypnotic Eye was released in 2014 on Reprise Records and it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, the first Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers album to ever do so.
