Plans to build a new grocery store on Lowe's Drive were recently approved.

It looks like Aldi will soon be opening another store in Wilton! According to a report from the Saratogian, land will be subdivided at Wilton Marketpalce to accommodate the new grocery store. The Saratogian report says the developer hopes to start clearing the lan next month, with a target window of late 2019 for the new store to open. Aldi already operates several stores in the Capital Region including Colonie, Clifton Park, Schenectady and Glenville.

I personally have never shopped at Aldi. Market 32 and Hannaford are always my go to's based on proximity to the house. With 2 kids in tow, the path of least resistance is always easiest when it comes to food or any type of shopping. But maybe based on Aldi's great reviews from those I know, it's time to give it a shot. If stores keep opening in the area - the experience must be great!
