Yikes!

You may want to put your guard up if you are heading to the William K. Sanford Library in Colonie. CBS 6 Albany reports that multiple staffers have been complaining about a pair of wild turkeys taking over the parking lot.

The pair appears to be a male and a female and it is said that you better be prepared to deal with the male. CBS 6 Albany says that most of the staff's complaints are of the turkeys getting on their cars or in their way. They don't seem to be too aggressive but I guess one chased an ambulance out of the library parking lot!

Ha! These turkeys mean business! Just kidding, I guess they are mostly annoying but not much can be done about them seeing as the law doesn't allow trapping or relocating of native birds.

For a while, the library had bird feeders out in front of it, but since turkeys can be territorial birds the staff decided to take them down and for now they kind of just have to shoo them back in the woods.

So if you're out picking up some good reads you might want to keep an eye out!
