At first, I thought it was just me. Every time I walk into the cold, within seconds I think "Oh,man! I should have hit the can before I came out!".

Turns out, there once again is a scientific reason for the need to pee when hitting the cold. Seems that it's a reaction to try and regulate your temperature according to The Naked Scientists....

"When you are exposed to the cold and your blood pressure rises, the kidney interprets this as due to an excess circulating volume, and sets about losing salt and water in order bring down the blood volume and hence blood pressure. As a result you produce more urine."

Yea, I know, too many big words to explain why you have to pee the minute you hit the cold, but at least you know why you're about to wet your snow pants and perhaps more. At least you'll be warm for a little bit....
