Watch The Mailbox — Royal Invites Sent Out

Keep an eye on the mailbox - Britain's Prince William and bride-to-be Kate Middleton have sent out invites to approximately 1900 friends, family & dignitaries for their royal wedding in April. 

Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh will lead a group of 50 members of the British royal family at the wedding, while around 40 representatives of foreign royal families - likely to include dignitaries from Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Greece - will also attend.

Will singer Elton John - a friend of Prince William's mother Diana, the Princess of Wales - or Kanye West, a favorite of the prince who performed at a 2007 tribute concert for his mother, be among those who'll receive a prized invite?

Britain's Sunday Express newspaper reported that David Beckham and his wife Victoria are on the royal guest list. Prince William worked with Beckham on England's failed bid to win the right to host the 2018 World Cup.

In a statement, Prince William's office insisted it would not disclose details of individual guests. No invites have been sent to the White House and no US policitians are expected to be invited.  The Royal Family would like to keep it more of a family affair.  However one person not on the list.  The Dutchess of York Sarah Ferguson- She continues to be the black sheep of the family.  Even the ex-girlfriends of  Prince William & Prince Harry have been invited.

In other announced royal wedding news, Prince Harry is to be the best man and Kate Middleton has asked her younger sister Philippa - known to her family as Pippa - to be her maid of honor.  So watch the mailbox, (although no mail today as it Presidents Day) should a gold lined envelope appear, you're invited!
