Not that there is any ideal outcome in cases such as these but this is certainly not how anyone wanted this situation to end.

Last week we told you about an attempted murder suspect who was on the run from the authorities in Catskill after police say he allegedly intentionally shot a known associate outside of a local bar in the Village of Catskill. Police warned the community that Paul  Maldonado, also known as “Pablo”, 38, of Leeds was wanted in connection to the incident and was considered to be armed and dangerous.

Pablo is no longer a threat to the public because according to News10 "Catskill police said his body was found in a wooded area in Shandaken in Ulster County near Woodstock." His car was found a few days later in the Ulster County area. Authorities say that his death appears to be a suicide.

Our thoughts go out to the victim and the families of both parties involved.
