It's a historic night! For the first time in the school's history at the Division One level, Union College Hockey is heading to the Frozen Four! The Dutchmen beat UMass Lowell 4-2  in the NCAA East Regional Finals. Now pack your bags for Tampa, Union College is two wins away from the Championship title.  It's also the first time a ECAC Hockey team has reached the Frozen Four since Cornell in 2003. Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport Connecticut was rockin' after #1 seed and third ranked Union College beat UMass Lowell in the final. Now Dutchmen will play, for the first time ever, on the Division One level in the Frozen Four in Tampa with a semi-final game on April 12th. The championship game will take place April 14th.

Union finished with a 39-21 shot advantage on the night, with sophomore goalie Troy Grosenick stopping 19 and UMass Lowell goaltender Daniel Carr making 36 saves while Jeremy Welsh was named the tourney MVP.

If Cornell wins the Midwest Regional, then Union will face the ECAC rival in Tampa.
