Talk about weird- this is beyond weird. Two men working the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City this past week both collapsed and died after suffering heart attacks

Robert Blasetti, 77, was dressed up as a happy clown making balloon animals for the children in the crowds when he went down like a ton of bricks. He made the kids smile and then frown in terror as he fell down. He wasn't such a happy clown anymore.

He was at Sixth Avenue and West 39th Street when he collapsed. Fellow clowns and others rushed to his aid, but it was all in vain. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. At least he made people smile and laugh before he died.

Spokesman Orlando Veras said Macy's was "saddened to report" that a parade marcher had suffered a medical emergency. He declined to say whether the man was a Macy's employee.

In the same context, another man at the parade suffered a fatal heart attack, only this one was a civilian for the NYPD. His name and age are unknown, but he was getting a vehicle ready for towing at West 57th Street and Sixth Avenue when he was stricken. He, too was pronounced dead at the hospital.
