With five albums and a decade now behind them, the Canadian band the Trews have no intentions of slowing down. And they prove it, quite explosively, in their new video for 'What's Fair Is Fair.'

In the clip, which you can watch above, the setting is a maze-like warehouse, where the camera races to keep up with the music's pace. The lyrics explore a relationship on the rocks, and the sparks that fly throughout the video convey just how love can blow up in your face.

"The song is about a struggling relationship and the words that you can't take back," guitarist John-Angus MacDonald tells us. "The video is more reflective of the energy of the recording then it is of the lyrics. I guess when [director  Drew Lightfoot] heard the track, he visualized things exploding, which sort of makes sense."

'What's Fair Is Fair' is the latest single off the band's self-titled album that came out last month. You can watch the exclusive premiere of the video above.
