Tig’s Metal Box: Primus and Mastodon 2018 Tour

This week we talk about Primus and Mastodon teaming up for a 2018 U.S. tour which will play the Cool Insuring Arena (formerly Glens Falls Civic Center) on May 25. Watch full video above. Rockers Primus formed out of San Francisco, California in 1984. Singer Les Claypool remains the band's mainman on Vocals and bass. Albums like Sailing the Seas of Cheese, Pork Soda, and Tales from the Punchbowl remain Primus classics.

Heavy metal band Mastodon formed out of Atlanta, GA in 2000 and all the band members perform vocals at live shows. The group features bassist Troy Sanders, guitarists Brent Hinds and Bill Kelliher, and drummer Brann Dailor. They've released seven studio albums, initillialy garnering critical acclaim with their debut album Remission in 2002.
